Pratikshya started her training in Odissi dance under the tutelage of Guru Lipsa Satpathy in Kelucharan Mohapatra style of Odissi.

As a native of the Steel City of Jharkhand, Bokaro, she has explored dance as a science student in Delhi when she represented her college, Indraprastha, University of Delhi in multiple college festivals, chief among them being Antaragni (IIT Kanpur) and Mood Indigo (IIT Mumbai) where she finally decided to pursue my career in dance and since then, never looked back.

Having  performed in various national festivals for over a few years now,  she is a professional dance teacher and performing artist working in the field of cultural pedagogy for over a decade now.
